Bibliothek der Heilung explores art’s therapeutic potential, drawing inspiration from Berlin’s libraries for an installation of paintings designed to evoke calm and comfort. During her artist residency in Berlin, Zhang visited numerous libraries across the city, uncovering moments of quiet reflection within these spaces. This contrast between the stillness of the libraries and the dynamic vibrancy of Berlin serves as the foundation for this work, emphasizing the restorative power of calm amidst the city's energy.
